It took me almost 6 months, but I finally got around to finishing my log cabin quilt. You may remember from this post that I finished the quilt top back in June. Summer was busy and I had other projects to finish. I always seem to have an excuse and felt guilty every time I would see my half finished quilt. Well, I've had enough so I finally buckled down and started quilting and binding. I'm so glad I did because the end result was worth the effort.
I just love the little square yellow patch. |
Until next time...
Oooooh adore the pops of orange in there:):) Congrats on your quilt finish!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sara. The orange really added that pop of colour to the quilt. I'm glad I used the same fabric for the binding.

DeleteI like! I keep wanting to make a log cabin quilt, but worry about keeping things square and straight.
ReplyDeleteThe quarter inch foot is the essential foot for perfect 1/4 inch seams. It kept things square and straight. Thanks for visiting our blog
DeleteIt is gorgeous. I love the pattern.
ReplyDeleteHi Virna! I love your quilt. It's beautiful--the brightly coloured fabrics you used work really well with the white background.
