I am back with a clean and simple layout today.  When things are busy and I still want to have some craft time, layouts with lots of white space are the way to go.  
This was taken at one of our summer outings to Centre Island. A few minutes away by ferry from downtown Toronto, the island is a great way to have a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.  We went there on a Friday which was ideal if you want to avoid the ferry line up (and if you have some vacation days to spare!).  
For my layout, I used the same computer technique as here to print out my journaling.  The seam was hidden behind the photos.
I used Papertrey dies (edger #5, block alphabet), stamp (label basics), cardstock (raspberry fizz) and patterned paper. I also used my Smash Date Stamp and a Recollections white cardstock.
