Hi there! Back today to share another layout of what we did over the last March break. I posted our first stop which was a visit to the ROM here.
Our next stop was at Casa Loma, a majestic castle located in Toronto. It prides itself with ornately decorated suites, a beautiful estate garden, an 800-foot tunnel and just pure magnificent elegance and splendour. For the March break, the castle staged a fun carnival-themed event. Here is my layout...
I used Papertrey's dies (headline alphabets, tag sale #7 which I cut short to fit in my layout), button, twine and stamp (fabulous frames, label basics). I also used tags from Crate's Storyteller collection. All the rest of the patterned papers and embellishments are from Simple Stories' 24/Seven collection (I told you this is my new favourite!)
I am also entering this to Leigh Penner's Pages with Papertrey challenge which is to use 3 tags, a stamp and twine in a layout. I may have used 2 stamps (instead of 1) so hope that is still okay :).
Close up of the journaling...
... and one of the tags using a Papertrey die.
Thanks for stopping by!
Fabulous layout, Irma!
ReplyDeleteI love how you play along with the PWP challenges! Feel free to make them work for you (changing up number of items, etc.) however you'd like. :)
Great layout and use of the tags and stamps. That Headline Alphabet is one of the most versatile of alphabet dies out there - nice work!
