As I was doing my last day of school layout for my DD’s Junior Kindergarten year, I thought that it would be a great idea to have another layout with a photo of her on the first and last day of school. This way, I could see how she'd changed over the course of a year.
Here is my layout. I like the simplicity of it and I think I will use this as my official first and last day of school layout design for the coming years. I plan to just change up the colours and embellishments but keep the general design the same.
I used Papertrey’s Headline Alphabet, Countdown Details (banner) and Fruit Fusion dies and pure poppy cardstock. I also used stickers from Simple Stories and cards from Project Life and Me and My Big Ideas. I love how simple and quick it was to put together this page.
Some close ups... This was her on the first day, looking a bit nervous and shy...
I am also entering this to Leigh Penner’s Pages with Papertrey Challenge #13 here which is to create a layout without using a purchased patterned paper.
Thanks for stopping by!
Super sweet layout, Irma!
