Beautiful Muskoka is now one of our favourite all-season destinations. We were there last winter and had a fabulous time dog sledding, tobogganing and relaxing by the fireplace. We went back last summer for a different experience. And for sure, we will come back again this fall season for its famous fall foliage.
So anyway, for summer, we started by visiting the Boat and Heritage Centre which houses lots of boat artifacts and memorabilia reminiscent of the good ol’ steamship and resort era. We then joined a steamship cruise and capped the day relaxing by the dock area with a great view of the lake.
Here is my layout…
Close up of the journaling...
I used Papertrey’s Headline Alphabet, Journal Tab and Sketched Shape dies and Soft Stone polka dot patterned paper. I also used a Project Life card (which I cut to make it narrower and fit my design), MME enamel dots, Simple Stories’ sticker embellishment and plaid patterned paper from my stash.
I am also linking this to Leigh Penner’s Pages with Papertrey Challenge #19 here which is to use at least 3 Papertrey dies.
Thanks for stopping by!
