I've been remiss in my blogging duties lately and there really isn't any valid reason except for the fact that I'm a slacker.
I have a stack of craft books sitting in my closet. I look at the pictures in the books and they're really pretty and nice to look at but I have no motivation to start any project. Maybe it's the cold weather or maybe because I'm so busy at work. Oh well, who am I kidding...I'm just extremely lazy. I wish I was more like my craftmate, Irma, who is the most organized person I know.
Anyway, speaking of craft books, here's the stack of craft books I have in my closet.
These are the sewing books with patterns inside.
These books are for felt crafts.
Oh, and I had this crazy notion in my head that I would learn how to do embroidery, so I bought these books too.
Hopefully, these books will be put to use soon. With the holidays fast approaching, I need to get going and start making gifts for friends and family. Who knows? Maybe I'll even surprise myself by starting an embroidery project. Till next time!
You GO Girl !! I would love to be like Irma too ... think we could take over some of her genetics? I used to love embroidery when I was in High School.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of 'Meet Me At Mike's'...good luck with your endeavours.
ReplyDeleteAwww... Thanks Virns and Cindy :) - Irma
ReplyDeleteOhhh.. Those Doodle Stitching books have been on my *wishlist* forever! Do you like them?? :) Is one better than the other? Any chance that I could get a few peeks inside the book via email? :)
ReplyDeleteI like the Motif collection better. I can swap the other book with you for one of your awesome mug rugs or tote.
DeleteSend me an e-mail if you're interested.
Thanks!!!
