tulip card

I see lots of crafters using their supplies for purposes other than what they were originally intended for.  I challenged myself to look through my stash and see if I can find a way to stretch those supplies and get more bang for my buck.

I came across the hot air balloon die from Papertrey's Up, Up and Away set.  When you flip it upside down, it resembles a vase.  So here is what I did with it.

I also used Papertrey's Flower Fusion stamp and die, Birthday Basics and Polka Dot sets, Bitty Dots patterned paper and Pure Poppy Ink and cardstock.

And here is  the entire set because I cannot stop at just one.  Again, this will be available for purchase at our craft show this weekend.  Drop by to say Hi!  if you are in the area.

  1. Great idea Irma. I'm going to have to give that a try. It makes a really cute vase!
