Gift Exchange

We have a small team at work and during the holidays, we draw names for a gift exchange. The person I picked is new to our team and I really don't know her well. Someone told me that she likes cookbooks so I decided to buy her a gift card from Chapters.

In addition to the gift card, I made her a tote bag using this tutorial from Happy Zombie. 

For this project, I used three fat quarters

It took me about an hour to sew this project. The most difficult part for me was sewing the handles.

The recipient told me that the tote bag made the gift more personal.
