colour inspiration challenge

Today's challenge over at Papertrey's anniversary celebration is on colour inspiration.  Nicole put together six colour stories to choose from.  We are tasked to create a project utilizing one of the colour schemes.  This is the colour scheme I chose to work with.

And here is my card...  It is not a colour scheme I would normally use but that is what a challenge is for, right?

I used Papertrey cardstock (stampers select white, lavender moon, plum pudding, hawaiian shores), ink (hawaiian shores) and hexagon die.  I did not have a blueberry sky cardstock so I just used a similar one from my stash.

I am also entering this on Papertrey's design team inspiration challenge.  I used Cristina's card below as my inspiration.  I have always loved her CAS style!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. You know, I was looking at Cristina's cards today and wondered if it would work to CASE her card using the Hexagon Coverplate-- good to know that not only does it work, it looks fabulous!

  2. Wow, your card looks a lot like mine, great minds think alike.

  3. Great job! Love your card using the Hexagon great idea! I need to use that one more… or at least once… beautiful!

  4. These are so pretty! They will work for any gender too!
