peaceful pinecones

Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting in person two of the wonderful girls from the Papertrey Ink forum, Natasha and JiIlian.  Jillian started a thread on the forum about wanting to get together and make cards for those living in the Toronto area.  Natasha graciously offered her fabulous place (thanks Natasha!) so the date was set.  It must have been fate as I rarely (as in once-in-a-blue-moon rarely) go to the Off Topic section of the forum.  But as luck would have it, the day I visited that section was the day Jillian's post was on top of the list.

During our get together, Jillian made a card using the Peaceful Pinecone set. I am so in love with this set!  This is my favourite of the holiday sets released by Papertrey this year. I was inspired by her colour combination so I created this card as soon as I got home (I would have never put dark chocolate and pure poppy together for a Christmas card!).

 And the set...

Thanks for stopping by.  Come back tomorrow as we share the exciting things that happened during our first craft show.

  4. Irma, I have to agree with you that I think Peaceful Pinecones is now my favorite. Didn't buy it, however, but it's moved up on my wish list because it can be used for other than holiday cards. Yours is simply stunning though!
