pwp#18 - snow valley

As winter slowly comes to a close, I can't help but reminisce the fun times we've spent embracing this season with all its glory.  I used to dislike the cold and the snow but have decided that since we chose Canada to be our home, we might as well enjoy everything it has to offer.

Here is a layout I made of our trip this year to Snow Valley where we enjoyed a day full of tubing and snowshoeing.  I am also linking this to Leigh Penner's Pages with Papertrey Challenge which is to create a two-page layout.

I used Papertrey dies (damask snowflakes, modern alphabets), 2010 Holiday Tags set and various colored cardstock for the title. I also used Crate patterned paper and Ali Edwards' Favorite Memories stamp set.  It is one of my current favourite sets because of the heartfelt sentiments and beautiful fonts.  Here is a close up...

And one of the things I love doing recently is the use of gradient colours such as the one I did for the title...

Thanks for stopping by!
