everyday moments

So I apparently just needed new stamps to force myself some crafty time, lol.  Last week, I got some new sets from WPlus9 which I tried during the weekend.  Before I knew it, I started pulling out scrapbooking supplies and creating layouts.  And then, my Project Life kits were out (which I talked about here) and I was whipping out layouts after layouts like nobody’s business.   Suffice it to say, I created so many layouts that I am now totally caught up.  Let’s just say I completed layouts in the double digit range, ha!

Here is the first one I created … another one of my DD’s everyday moments.

I am loving Project Life currently (and other companies like Simple Stories and Echo Park that have a similar “capturing the everyday made easy” kind of concept).  It truly does make documenting easier for me.  In my case though, I think I am sticking to doing traditional layouts and not use their pre formatted page protectors (love my “white space” too much to give that up!).

I used my new Project Life Blush core kit for this.  And of course, every time there is a bike involved in my layout, I couldn’t resist pulling out my Pedal Pushers set from Papertrey (sigh!).  I also used cardstock from Martha Stewart, grass punch from My Favorite Things and my new favourite enamel dots from My Mind’s Eye.

Some close ups…

Hope you are having a nice start to your week.  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. This is really sweet. Most of life is made up of everyday moments! It's great that you're capturing those.

  2. This is very well designed. I, too, like your white space and what you've done with your the project life card.

  3. Oh, this is just too cute! I love your photo of your little sweetie riding her bike, what memories that brings back from when my daughter was little. Fabulous layout Irma, just love it!
