in bloom card

Quick post today on a busy weekend.... The Craftmates are having our monthly get together tomorrow (yey us!).  I am so looking forward to hours of eating, crafting and talking!  I also have to squeeze in some practice driving time as I am scheduled to take my highway driving test on Wednesday.  Wish me luck!  I am not known to pass these kinds of tests the first time, ha!

Anywho, back to crafting.... I made this card for a friend a few months back.  It is a CASE (copy and selectively edit) of one of Nicole Heady’s cards when the new quatrefoil cover plate die was introduced.  That was the card that tipped me over to getting this die.

Aside from the quatrefoil  cover plate, I also used Papertrey’s In Bloom die and stamp set (this was one of my early favourite floral sets from PTI), double ended banner, Enjoy the Ride stamp (for  the sentiment) and cardstock. I also used a vintage music sheet I scored in one of my antique shoppings.

I created some more card sets which I packaged like this...

Close up of the tag made with Papertrey die (Tag Sale #3, Limitless Layers Circle) and the 2011 Birthday Tag set.

Hope you are having a fabulous weekend!
