papertrey october blog hop
It's that time of the month again... Papertrey Blog Hop!
This month it is all about breaking out of your comfort zone and trying out some non-traditional colour schemes for a holiday card or tag! Nicole gave us several options for non traditional colour combos and I chose this one.
Here is the Christmas card I created with these yummy colours.
I used Papertrey's Hawaiian Shores and white cardstock, Tree Trimming Trio stamp and die, Aqua Mist, Raspberry Fizz and Smokey Shadow ink and a pink striped washi tape.
On the inside of the card, I used my new favourite Stylish Sentiments: Holiday set.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy hopping...

Great card! Love the tree, I almost got that set for this year, it looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHi , Irma! Well, we loved the same colors. This is one of my favorite trees, and you made it look even more beautiful in these colors. Love the way you used your washi tape. The inside is beautiful too!
ReplyDeleteLove the details on your card. The little swirls under your tree make a great tree stand. The washi tape is the perfect addition and really highlights the sentiment too!
ReplyDeleteIrma very pretty and I love your washi tape!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Irma. I love the "tree stand" as well. Clever!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I love those stripes behind the card, and how nice that you did the inside, too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, inside and out!
ReplyDeleteGreat balance & design!
