papertrey anniversary: free printables

The fun continues over at Papertrey Ink's anniversary month.  Today, the challenge is to use one of their free printables found here to create a project.

As soon as I saw the choices, I knew I had to go with Heather's 3x4 journaling card.

Here is the layout I made using that adorable card.

This was from our first snow tubing outing this season.  I had the photos printed last week and just waiting for the right time to get scrapped.  Guess that  time is now!

I used Papertrey's Headline Alphabet, Sketched Shapes and Heart 2 Heart dies, Ali Edwards Travel with Flair stamp and journaling cards from Simple Stories and PTI's printables.  This is my favourite kind of scrapbooking... grid style, using journaling cards and white cardstock.

Close up of the cards and my journaling...

And while I'm at it, I also made a card using the same printable.  I also used one of Nicole's sketches and colour recipes from yesterday.
