I am glad to be participating again in Leigh Penner's Pages with Papertrey Challenge. This time, it is to create a layout using the sketch below.
One of our summer traditions is a visit to the Blue Mountain Resort. Though more popular as a skiing destination, Blue Mountain is also perfect for a quick summer getaway.
Of course, I had to make a layout of it :) Here it is using the sketch for the challenge. Aside from the beautiful outdoors (which I have a separate layout for next time), this place also has great accommodations. My layout captures Frances' feelings about the place and how instantly she felt at home with it.
I used Papertrey dies (lovely layers, pretty peonies), buttons and patterned paper (smokey shadow stripes, melon berry and summer sunrise bitty dots). I also used Cosmo Cricket and October Afternoon patterned papers, Tiny Types letter stickers, Simple Stories sticker (You are my sunshine) and Stamping Bella bauble.
Oh, super sweet layout, Irma! I love how you used the sketch and the colours/patterns you included!
