sand and the city

I have a friend who lives downtown by the Lakeshore area.  This is the amazing view from her place.

Last month, we visited her and spent some time by the nearby Sunnyside beach.  Frances got some water action by the splash pad.  Afterwards, she also enjoyed just running around the shoreline and playing with the sand.

I made a layout of that using the new Fabulous Frames die from Papertrey.  The large die is the perfect size to mat supporting photos in a layout.

Aside from the Fabulous Frame die, I also used Papertrey patterned paper (aqua mist, smokey shadow), buttons (pure poppy), twine and die (block alphabet).  Cardstock is from Martha Stewart and patterned paper from Fancy Pants.

Close up of the photos and dies...

Thanks for stopping by!
