PWP #17 - 12 days of christmas

Okay, so this layout is more about my DD's days leading up to Christmas (and not just 12 days!).  I always love making a page about the little things she did during the holidays.  I think that this year, she especially enjoyed it since it really felt like a vacation for her, with her sleeping in most days and not having to worry about getting ready for school.

I am also participating in Leigh Penner's Pages with Papertrey Challenge.  The challenge is to create a layout using one of Make It Monday's techniques.  Every Monday, Papertrey Design Team shares a video of a technique for us paper lovin' crafters.  For this layout, I chose Dawn Mcvey's technique of creating flowers with leaf dies.

I used Papertrey's Sending You leaf die and Calendar Basics stamp (for the year stamp) -- this is also one of the MIM techniques, stamping on patterned paper!  I also used My Mind's Eye's 12 Days of Christmas patterned paper.
