Happy New Year! Hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating with family and friends.
I am starting the year with an almost updated stash of scrapbook layouts. I spent a few hours here and there during the holidays creating layouts using my assembly-line style. It makes me happy to finally get caught up after months of no layouts due to school, birthday party stuff and the holiday craziness. The last one I did was that of my DD's first day of school in September (gasp!).
Today I am sharing one of the Christmas layouts I just completed, our annual photo with Santa. My DD has come a long way when in comes to meeting up with Santa. I remember when she used to be scared of the big guy when she was little. Now, she cozies up with him easily and feels comfortable telling him what she likes for Christmas. She had a very easy wish this year, actually. All she told Santa was "I want new toys because my toys are getting old".
I used Papertrey dies (damask snowflakes, modern alpha and script alpha). I also used October afternoon patterned paper, pearl baubles and a Martha Stewart punch for the small snowflakes.
Here is a close up of the gorgeous snowflakes...
Thanks for stopping by!
