Hope you are all having a fabulous week! Can you believe it is already the middle of June? We are almost halfway through the year. Before we know it, fall is here. But for now, let us talk about summer.
I am here with a layout of the opening day of my DD’s happiest place for summer, Canada’s Wonderland. Ever since she discovered this magical place last year, all she talked about during winter was how excited she is for it to open again this year.
May 6, 2012 – Our calendar was marked for its much anticipated opening. Not even this line could stop us from braving the crowds just to get in and finally enjoy the rides.
Don't worry.. we took the express stroller line :)
Here is the 2-page layout I made for that day. I used Papertrey's cardstock (Berry Sorbet), dies (chevron stripes, limitless labels circle, Tag Sale #5, trendy trees, clouds and block alpha dies). I also used October Afternoon patterned paper and Lifestyle Crafts Oh, Happy Day alpha dies.
She really adores Snoopy and friends!
Here is a close up of the journaling and fun elements of this layout. I love the softness of the gray against the yellow and berry sorbet combination.
Finally jumped on the chevron bandwagon
Oopps..Pardon the white strip of paper.. Don't know where that came from.
I did a layout of our visits there last year. How do you think my style has evolved since then?
Close up of the pages...
Have a good weekend everyone!
