Her challenge #5 is to create a layout using these 3 colours: harvest gold (yellow) , fresh snow (white) and true black (well, black). Here is what I came up with.
This is one of our early spring trips to Niagara. It is rare that I get a good close up picture of my DD so I wanted to capture that here.
I used mainly My Mind's Eye paper, The Girls Paperie brads and Papertrey's stamp and die (Postmarks). Here is a close up of my Papertrey elements..
Eventhough we've seen it many times, my DH and I always make it a point to have a lovely stroll by the majestic falls every time we are in the area. My DD however looks forward to some water fun every time we go there. Here is a separate layout I made of her water adventure for that same trip.
I used Bazzil cardstock, Quickutz alpha die (cotton candy), October Afternoon patterned paper, Papertrey die (eyelet lace) and buttons (hawaiian shores).
Thank you once again for all your sweet comments. It warms our heart to hear your kind words.
Irma,
ReplyDeleteTwo great layouts. Love the striped paper in the first one. Your daughter is beautiful. So fun to share tender moments.
Great layouts, Irma! I especially love the little details on the first one, like the postage stamps in the top right hand corner!
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the challenge, Irma! The postmarks are cute! And i love that you used MME - my absolute favorite! :)
