Eleven year old Ethan celebrated his birthday with a Play Station Party (PSP!!!) with his gamer buddies and this Play Station 3 cake. This 3 dimensional all-edible cake is made of dark chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling.
pad paper is made of fondant and edible markers
all fondant!

One of them is edible!

I've always enjoyed sculpting 3D cakes (despite the waste!) and this project is no exception.
Holy Cannoli. I'm seriously in awe of the talent here. When I first saw this on the party, I was wondering why a Playstation was linked up...LOL!! It looks SO REAL...I seriously couldn't tell it was cake. AMAZING. Thanks so much for linking up at Mop It Up Mondays. I'm featuring you tomorrow! {HUGS}, kristi

DeleteYou *made* this?!? It's amazing! It looks like plastic, not food, but from your description of what you made it with just implies delicious!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lisa! I applied a thin layer of glycerine to give that shiny look. You're right...it does look like plastic! :-)
